Bellamianta Sunset Soirée: Case Study
Grey Dog supports Bellamianta’s Sunset Soirée collection launch with a glittering cocktail reception in Dublin
Every great collection deserves a great debut. For Bellamianta’s Sunset Soirée, the challenge was to craft a launch event that felt as effortless, radiant and unforgettable as the products themselves. That’s where Grey Dog came in.
The phone call came from Linda Stinson, Bellamianta’s Founder and CEO: “We’re running a launch event, and I’d love your help!”. Carley, Grey Dog’s Founder and CEO, met Linda at EY’s Winning Entrepreneurial Women as two of the finalists from Ireland. It was a match made in heaven!
The Sunset Soirée vision
With just two weeks to go, the brief was clear:
Create an unforgettable summer cocktail reception to launch Bellamianta’s Sunset Soirée collection. Spark conversation, drive content generation and leave guests with a lasting impression of everything Bellamianta represents.
An Irish-owned, cruelty-free luxury tanning brand, Bellamianta has become the country’s go-to for premium self-tan and cosmetics. Their new Sunset Soirée line delivers radiant, lit-from-within skin, an effortless beauty solution that takes you from sun-kissed beach days to elegant evenings, perfectly capturing the magic of “golden hour in a bottle.”
The goal? Bring that magic to life at the launch event, staged at Dublin’s newest rooftop bar, Old Fashioned Sam’s. From the moment the brief landed, Team Grey Dog knew this was going to be something special.
Why Grey Dog?
Linda and Carley had built a strong connection through the EY programme, exchanging insights and experiences as female business leaders. Having seen firsthand what Grey Dog could deliver, Linda had no doubt about our ability to bring Bellamianta’s vision to life.
With Grey Dog’s expertise in experiential marketing, outstanding live events and creating standout brand moments, Linda trusted they could ensure Bellamianta owned the night and give the Sunset Soirée launch the spotlight it truly deserved.
Design and activations
With the venue set, the first step was to establish a creative concept for the event. After exploring 'Vintage Havana Club' and ‘Summer in the City’, we ultimately landed on the simple yet striking 'Soirée' theme, which perfectly encapsulated the collection. Key activations included:
Product trialing areas: Inviting spaces where attendees could test the new 'Sunset Soirée' collection firsthand, complete with custom mirror decals and branded fans, perfect for
Immersive photo opportunities: Strategically placed, themed backdrops and installations that served as ideal settings for both press and influencer content capture.
Barbie box-inspired photo op: A playful, on-brand installation that proved to be an engaging and highly shareable moment for content creators.

Partners and suppliers
To bring our vision to life, we meticulously coordinated suppliers and partners for every detail. We’re grateful to our exception suppliers for providing the following:
Caterhire for furniture and tableware
Dublin Balloons for the amazing balloon archway
Prop Me Up Install for the fabric displays, custom mirrors and selfie booths
We Do Printing for signage and all on-the-night prints
Atmosphere for the royal pink carpet

DJ Dave Treacy set the soundtrack for the evening complete with a vibrant tiki bar.
The event was proudly sponsored by the perfect beach margarita provider, Jose Cuervo, and we ensured the spicy margaritas were flowing! Throughout the venue, the Sunset Soirée collection remained front and centre, positioned in easily accessible trialing areas and near the bars for maximum visibility.
Party time: on-the-day setup
With all suppliers locked in and budgets aligned, set up day came around. The Grey Dog team onsite arrived to coordinate all suppliers, the build and set the scene for the ultimate Sunset Soirée. Every consideration was made to put the Bellamianta’s new tanning line front and centre, to spark conversations and to generate content creation from the influencers and beauty fanatics carefully added to the guest list by Valerie Roe.

The result, in Bellamianta’s words, was truly magical. Over 300 people attended the event, and we could not have been happier with how it turned out.
Working on an event brief like this brought our whole team’s creativity and focus to the forefront. We loved working with the Bellamianta team and all of the partners and suppliers alike who brought the glitter and sparkle to Bellamianta’s Sunset Soirée!
